Peter Green is a JRB Records recording artist with 25 years of performance experience on electric and acoustic guitar working with heavy rock, top 40, blues and jazz ensembles. He currently performs solo contemporary acoustic fingerstyle guitar for concerts, restaurants, coffee houses, private affairs and other venues. He's also a former member of Jim Chapin Big Band.  Peter has worked on numerous touring and recording dates and has performed in productions of West Side Story, Smoky Joe's Cafe and Hello Dolly. He has made appearances with Paul Simon, Eddie Money, The Drifters, The Del Vikings, Toots Thielemans, and Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn Bridge. He's also a recording studio owner specializing in commercial music production and mastering.


   "I offer Guitar and Bass Lessons for all ages/levels/styles. This includes acoustic or electric guitar. Beginners are welcome. Each of my students receives a solid musical foundation consisting of instruction in the areas of technique and relaxation, music theory, ear training, melody, rhythm and reading. I also focus on teaching the student music that is fun to play and that corresponds to the particular style that they are interested in, ranging from rock, metal, country, or jazz to acoustic and classical music. More advanced students can focus on specific areas of their playing( i.e. fingerstyle techniques, rock soloing, composition, etc.) I treat all students as individuals and progress is made at a pace that each is comfortable with. I've been teaching for over 25 yrs. and have guided thousands of successful students to their musical goals. Some of my former students are currently professional musicians, others have gone on to music schools, such as Berklee School of Music and Boston Conservatory and some simply enjoy sitting on their front porches and strumming a tune. I teach in a relaxed, friendly, professional style that makes students feel comfortable and produces results.
    In addition, I teach studio/computer recording and production, for students or musicians who have a home studio or recording device and I can be hired as a consultant for studio owners who need assistance with purchasing, setting up or maintaining gear or learning new production techniques and programs. I'm fluent in Cubase, Logic, Garageband and Pro Tools and have much experience with Apple computers. I have many references available." -Peter Green
